10. Was welcomed home by some pretty stellar roomies.
9. Chili Cook Off Party 80s style for a good friends birthday. Best party yet. Our chili came in 3rd place!
8. Many evenings spent riding motos through the winding roads of Jarabacoa with good friends.
7. Dutch Blitz craziness after a delicious, home cooked, southern meal – Chicken Spaghetti.
6. Dinner at the local chicken stand, Pica Pollo, with a few of my little shoeshine friends from town– Alexander and Victor Jose.
5. Spent a day on a Haitian Sugar Batey and learned about their life there. My eyes were opened and my heart stirred.
4. Trip to a waterfall followed by jumping off rocks into the freezing cold river followed by the singing of Spanish love songs at the top of our lungs on the way home.
3. First Day of School with my new little rug rats – I survived.
2. Learned how to drive and purchased a motorcycle.
1. Realized I am living a pretty sweet life!
